Oneida Ultra, with its improved agronomic performance and disease resistance, was developed by Cornell University as the replacement for Oneida VR alfalfa. Among Oneida Ultra’s many pluses are fast regrowth and a moderate fall dormancy which gives you the flexibility to choose a more intensive cutting management sytem. Oneida Ultra is also enhanced by a stem structure that resists lodging more than other alfalfa varieties that have been bred for lower fiber concentration. That means higher forage quality and less harvest loss. Overall, Oneida Ultra’s performance proves itself year after year.
