PS 210 BMR Sorghum Sundangrass (Sorghum bicolor x Sorghum bicolor)
Photoperiod sensitive brown midrib
High yield potential with high
quality
Wide harvest window
PS 210 BMR is a new brown midrib sorghum sudangrass hybrid with the
photoperiod sensitive trait. This prod-uct should be planted after the
daylight period is greater than 12 hours and 20 minutes. Even though
PS 210 BMR will not head out until late in the fall, we rec ommend harvesting
at 60 days. If harvest is delayed, the product will not lose quality.
The extended harvest window means that you will have a wider harvest
window that may reach 45 days after a normal harvest of non-photoperiod
sensitive products. PS 210 BMR will wait until harvest is possible.

Sweet, juicy midrib.
New genetics.
Avoid Nitrate and Prussic Acid Poisoning from
sorghum:
Avoid large nitrogen applications
prior to expected drought periods. 2,4-D
can increase Prussic Acid concentration for several
weeks after application. Do not harvest drought-damaged
plants within 4 days following a good
rain. Do not green chop within 7 days of a killing
frost. Cut at a higher stubble height, nitrates
tend to accumulate in the lower stalk. Wait
1 month before feeding silage to
give Prussic Acid enough
time to escape.
